Zusammenfassung

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Bed Management professional to support bed allocation across Mental Health and Learning Disability inpatient services in Gloucester. The role involves independent clinical decisions and ensuring timely discharges.

You will collaborate with senior management, social care and healthcare partners, and contribute to service improvements while upholding patient safety and care standards.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent experience/training/knowledge relevant to position.
• Registered RMN/RNLD or Allied Health Professional.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Extensive clinical experience in mental health services.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities and high-stress situations.
• Experience using management information in a clinical environment.

Aufgaben

• Support the Bed Management Lead in bed allocation across Mental Health and LD inpatient services.
• Make key clinical decisions when operating independently.
• Find the most appropriate placement for patients.
• Maintain accurate management and recording of Delayed Transfer of Care.
• Ensure single sex accommodation standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with senior management and external partners for authorisations.
• Act as expert advisor on complex admission and discharge planning.
