Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop and validate industrial automation software for our production systems. You will work within the Assembly Systems Automation Software Team, delivering scalable PLC, HMI, motion and analytics solutions for power unit manufacturing.

You will build reusable function blocks, integrate Beckhoff TwinCAT (CODESYS considered) and robot vision, and collaborate across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Proven expertise in Beckhoff TwinCAT and exposure to CODESYS.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI development and motion control.
• Familiarity with machine vision and robot integration.
• Ability to develop reusable function blocks and scalable software architectures.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and validate automation programs for production systems.
• Create, maintain and evolve reusable function blocks for scalable software architecture.
• Integrate Beckhoff TwinCAT with robots, machine vision and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Automation team to deliver robust, production-ready software.
