Job summary

Realise Training is offering an Early Years Educator Apprentice - Level 3 at Ladybirds Nursery Beckenham in London. The role includes on‑the‑job training with a buddy, exposure to EYFS practices and observing child development.

You will learn alongside qualified staff in a team‑oriented environment and gain the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator. The apprenticeship lasts 14 months with a 40-hour week, Mon–Fri, and a salary of £8 per hour.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English minimum grade 4/C or higher or willing to complete Functional Skills
• Strong interest in working with children to help development
• Willing to complete Functional Skills alongside apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and evaluate activities for children from birth to age five
• Provide care and education within a key person structure
• Maintain a stimulating environment with appropriate displays and resources
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly nursery checks
• Support safeguarding and welfare of children at all times
• Work in line with the EYFS framework
• Learn nursery nurse duties on the job with the team
• Provide high quality childcare and observe child development
• Contribute observations and records as required
