Job summary
Sunderland College is seeking an experienced Beauty Therapy professional to join as Lecturer and Programme Leader for our Salon Professionals team in Sunderland.
You will lead delivery on Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy, design engaging lessons, mentor learners and coordinate programme delivery, ensuring high-quality teaching and assessment across the learner journey. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sunderland.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the sector is essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sessions with curriculum relevance and alignment to awarding body and college policies.
- Develop learning resources, plan lessons, and maintain student records and assessment documentation.
- Lead and coordinate programme delivery, ensuring courses are well organised and compliant.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and wellbeing, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues, employers and external partners to enhance student experience and industry engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment and quality improvement projects.
- Lead on quality assurance and compliance for study programmes.
