Education Partnership North East invites applications for a Lecturer and Programme Leader in Beauty Therapy based in Sunderland. This full-time permanent role offers a salary from £31,375 to £40,912 per annum and requires leadership of the programme in alignment with awarding bodies.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging sessions, develop resources, monitor progress and collaborate with industry partners to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of working within the sector.
• Level 5 teaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions, ensuring curriculum relevance and alignment with the awarding body and college policies.
• Develop learning resources, plan engaging lessons and maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation.
• Lead and coordinate programme delivery, ensuring courses are well organised, compliant and responsive to student and industry needs.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and wellbeing, providing guidance, feedback and appropriate support where required.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, employers and external partners to enhance the student experience and industry engagement.
• Contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment activities, quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
• Lead on quality assurance and compliance for your study programmes.
