Hours: 10 hours per week

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Beauty Studio at Superdrug

With Beauty Studios located in over 400 of our stores, we offer treatments from brows to nails to lashes and have partnered with professional brands such as Orly, Studex, Lash Perfect & Eyelash Emporium. We are looking for passionate therapists to join Superdrug to deliver outstanding services to our customers.

About You

You must possess an NVQ 2 in Beauty Therapy or have equivalent relevant qualifications.

A qualification & experience in acrylic nails & E-file is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience in beauty is a plus.

Confidence in approaching customers and upselling services and products.

A desire to exceed customers' expectations.

Passionate about all things beauty.

The Role

You will join a team of therapists who are experts at what they do. You will be providing professional advice and beauty treatments for our customers to ensure they have the best in-store experience.

You will offer the following treatments:

1. Nails (manicure, pedicure, gel polish, and Acrylics*)
2. Threading
3. Tinting
4. Facial & Brow waxing
5. Brow lamination
6. Lash extensions
7. Piercings

*Acrylics only performed in certain stores.

Journey to Joining Our Amazing Team

1. Apply online by submitting your CV, ensuring it highlights how your experience aligns with our beauty roles.
2. Telephone Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application, and if you meet the role's requirements, they will contact you to arrange a 20-minute telephone screening. This conversation will help us learn more about you and your experience.
3. Interview: If you successfully pass the telephone screening, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview with the Store Manager or Beauty Studio Manager. The interview will be held in-store and will involve a detailed discussion about your experience and expertise in Beauty or Hair.
4. Trade Test: We want to see you do what you do best! At your face-to-face interview, you will also be asked to complete a Trade Test so we can assess your practical skills and client interaction. This could be a nail, brow or hair treatment – dependent on what role you have applied for. The Talent Team will talk you through this when scheduling so you know exactly what to expect. Please note, to ensure the Trade Test runs smoothly, we ask that you bring along a friend/family member who can act as your model for this assessment.
5. Offer & Onboarding: If successful, you will receive a job offer with details about the role, salary, training, and benefits. We'll guide you through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth start into your new role.
