Job Description:

Shire Healthcare is recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to work from home with travel to Hitchin and Bedford.

About the employer:

This employer provides bespoke packages to children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma, working with children's residential homes, local authorities, supported accommodation providers, and educational settings. They also offer therapeutic support to organizations to develop trauma-informed practices.

Role snapshot:

The role involves working with external organizations, including schools and educational settings, providing consultations, reflective practice, some direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop and lead this therapy service, contributing to the company's centre of excellence in developmental trauma and attachment. Most of this role will be working from home.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 3–5 days per week, flexible

Experience required:

Experience working with CYP residential/LAC services and systems is mandatory. Registration/accreditation with the relevant governing body is required.
