Proactive Personnel Ltd in Oldham is seeking a practical and reliable Workshop Beam Saw Operator to join our production team. You will operate a beam saw and related woodworking machinery, reading cutting lists and measurements to produce components to specification.

The role involves setting up and adjusting machinery, checking finished parts for accuracy, loading and moving materials safely, and keeping the workshop clean and well organised.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a beam saw, panel saw or similar machinery.
• Experience within a joinery, furniture, woodworking, manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Good understanding of measurements and cutting lists.
• Practical, hands-on approach.
• Good attention to detail.
• Someone who can think outside the box and solve problems independently.
• Reliable and willing to learn.

Responsibilities
