Job summary

Havant & South Downs College is seeking an energetic Be Active Co-ordinator to develop health, sport and fitness opportunities for 16-19 year olds. You will promote and lead Be Active and Be Healthy activities across Havant and Alton campuses.

Responsibilities include organising clubs, linking with local sports networks, and collaborating with Elevate leads to enhance student participation. A vocational sport qualification and multi-sport coaching credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Be Active programme development and leadership.
• Link person to local sporting infrastructure through partnerships.
• Organise sport clubs and societies on Havant or Alton campuses.
• Collaborate with Elevate programme leads to integrate Be Active activities.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop Be Active and Be Healthy programmes within Elevate.
• Act as link within FE and local sporting networks.
• Develop, promote, supervise sport clubs and societies on campus.
• Coordinate with Elevate leads to align Be Active with wider programme.
• Engage local partners to signpost youth into community sport.
• Promote student engagement in sports and fitness activities.
