Job summary

Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking an individual to support its Active Lifestyles programmes, increasing participation in sport across the district. You will plan and deliver sessions, requiring a Level 2 qualification, with strong communication and organisational skills.

The role involves DBS checks and working in a hybrid model with in-office presence, typically two days a week, and right to work in the UK is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

• Current qualification in fitness instructing or sports coaching (at least Level 2).
• Experience planning and delivering high quality sports/physical activity sessions for diverse user groups.
• Excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills; DBS check required.
