Job summary

Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking an individual to support the Active Lifestyles programme, increasing participation in sport and physical activity across the district. Ideally you hold a Level 2 fitness instructing or sports coaching qualification with demonstrated experience delivering sessions to diverse user groups.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, and a satisfactory DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Current Level 2 qualification in fitness instructing or sports coaching.
• Proven experience planning and delivering high-quality sport/physical activity sessions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills; DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality sport/physical activity sessions for diverse user groups.
• Build effective relationships with participants and partners across the district.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding and DBS requirements are met.
