Auchrannie Resort on the Isle of Arran is seeking an experienced Café Supervisor for Bay Café by Auchrannie. You’ll oversee the café in the manager’s absence, ensure guests receive a warm welcome and consistently high service.

You’ll lead the team during service, work with the kitchen, manage stock and costs, and uphold food safety and compliance. Shifts include daytime, with weekends and some evenings.

Formación

• Previous supervisory experience in a busy café, restaurant, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day café operations, including opening/closing and security.
• Lead service, assign tasks and foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain high service standards and resolve customer issues professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen for communication, service timing, and product availability.
• Train and support team members, keep training records and address performance.
• Manage staffing, stock, waste and operating costs.
• Ensure food safety, allergens, health and safety, cleaning and compliance records.
• Oversee stock deliveries, till procedures, cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
