Job summary

TECHNE is supporting a leading battery intelligence and advanced engineering company in the search for a Battery Operations Engineer. You will sit between the Battery Test team, internal requestors, technical stakeholders and suppliers, owning how test activity is planned, prioritised and delivered across multiple programmes.

This role is approximately 70% operations and 30% technical, making it ideal for someone who wants to move towards project and programme leadership without stepping away

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating test activities across multiple programmes.
• Hands-on test knowledge across battery testing environments.
• Ability to translate technical requests into deliverable test activity.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning, scheduling and priorities across multiple battery programmes.
• Translate technical requests into clear, deliverable test activity.
• Manage competing demand across cyclers, chambers, instrumentation and engineering time.
• Coordinate test engineers, project teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Track test dates, delays, dependencies and programme status.
• Lead the move from largely manual coordination into a structured Jira-based workflow.
• Improve visibility and consistency across the full test-operations process.
