Job summary

Modo Energy is hiring a Market Advisor to join our Advisory team in London. This client-facing role turns data, forecasts, and research into bespoke reports and transaction support for clients buying, selling, or financing battery storage assets.

You'll own projects end to end—from scoping to client presentation—working with the Head of Advisory. The role combines market insight with hands-on client delivery in a fast-growing energy tech company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing analytical role in a business that invests in or lends against battery storage.
• Evidence that you can communicate analysis, not just produce it.
• Comfortable running several live client engagements and markets in parallel.
• Able to start within a reasonable timeframe without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial due diligence and transaction support for clients buying, selling, or raising finance against battery storage assets, including a clear view on how good an asset actually is.
• Turn Modo's data, forecasts, and research into tailored reports built for a specific client and a specific decision, rather than generic output.
• Get in front of clients, banks, and counterparties directly, presenting your analysis in person rather than just writing it up and handing it off.
• Own a project end to end, from scoping it and doing the analysis through to delivering the result, with support from the Head of Advisory.
• Build a working knowledge of battery markets across Europe rather than specialising in just one; the variety is part of the job.
