Job summary
Crown Lift Trucks Ltd. is seeking a Battery Service Engineer to service and repair battery equipment at customer sites. You will monitor van stock, complete paperwork and maintain safety standards, while meeting scheduled deadlines.
Ideal candidates will have at least two related technical areas, be able to work independently or in a team and hold a valid UK driving licence. Training and career progression are offered.
Qualifications
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Battery, Charger & Change systems knowledge.
- Proficient in fault finding and repair.
- Educated with GCSE English and Maths at grade C.
- Experience of Health & Safety requirements in workshop practice.
Responsibilities
- Carry out repair, inspection and quotation of customer battery equipment and accessories.
- Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and parts paperwork on time.
- Manage equipment and tooling (van, laptop/tablet) and maintain safe conditions.
- Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.
- Diagnose faults to component level and provide solutions.
