Job summary

ARM in Birmingham is seeking a Prototype Build & Test Technician for a 6-month contract to lead the build of a battery test property system. You will obtain parts from stores and assemble test properties at battery pack, module and cell levels, using electronic CAD provided and taking a hands-on approach to resolve prototype build issues.

The role focuses on process efficiency, safety and design-for-manufacture improvements, with collaboration across HV battery build, testing and design teams to

Qualifications

• Experience with building, testing and validating battery packs / subpacks & battery modules.
• Demonstrate understanding of Battery systems & High voltage safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build of a battery test property system and support testing as required.
• Coordinate obtaining parts from stores and assemble test properties at pack/module/cell level.
