Job summary

Masdar in the United Kingdom seeks a Project Manager to lead the safe, compliant delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from financial close through construction, commissioning and handover to Asset Management. You will manage EPC, BoP, BESS OEM and ICP interfaces, ensuring programme, cost and quality adherence under Masdar governance.

The role requires 5–10 years delivering energy infrastructure, strong commercial acumen, and experience with UK CDM regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
5–10 years delivering utility-scale energy infrastructure.
Direct experience in BESS projects and EPC contract administration.
Experience with grid-connected assets and UK CDM regulations.
Strong commercial acumen and risk management能力.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of BESS projects through construction and commissioning.
Act as Client Representative under EPC/BoP contracts.
Ensure compliance with programme, specifications and grid connection agreements.
Coordinate interfaces across BoP, HV, BESS integrator and ICP.
Maintain governance, reporting and risk management across the project.
