Job summary

Venturesec is seeking a professional SIA Security Officer to join the Bath BID Night Marshal team. The role involves reducing low-level crime and antisocial behaviour in the area, engaging with the community, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities include conducting foot patrols, supporting local businesses, and managing incidents effectively. Candidates must hold a current SIA licence and First Aid qualification, demonstrating strong communication and conflict management skills.

Qualifications

• Current and active SIA licence (either Door Supervisor or Close Protection).
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and 10-year background checks.
• Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Bath BID and Venture Security.
• Conduct high-visibility foot patrols across Bath city centre.
• Monitor and respond to developing situations and support vulnerable individuals.
• Complete accurate incident reports and documentation.
