Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Chemical Process Operator in the Worthington area. The role involves batch manufacture, weighing and mixing chemical ingredients, and monitoring equipment to ensure safety and quality. You will assist in process improvements and work within a production team to meet production targets.

FLT duties may be required subject to licence, with a strong emphasis on hygiene and compliance. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with a salary of £36,400 and company benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical/process manufacturing environments is essential.
• Ability to follow manufacturing instructions and batch sheets.
• Numeracy skills and accurate data recording are required.
• Forklift operation experience is desirable and may be licence-backed.
• Strong safety and PPE compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out batch manufacture in line with formulation sheets.
• Weigh, mix/react chemicals and monitor equipment during processing.
• Record process data to ensure quality and safety.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Report incidents and take corrective actions as needed.
• Support process and product improvements with observations.
• Operate FLT as required and other duties requested by management.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with HSE and QA.
