Job summary

Science Solutions Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Production Operator for our client in Wigan with a focus on batch manufacturing within a chemical environment. You will ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements and support packaging and warehousing processes.

The role requires forklift experience and the ability to follow Manufacturing Instructions. Desirable familiarity with chemical processes and plant equipment is preferred, with flexibility for shift work.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow Manufacturing Instructions.
• Forklift Truck experience.
• Understanding of chemical processes (desirable).
• Experience of working in a chemical / process type industry (desirable).
• Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all process and operational activities associated with batch manufacture are carried out in compliance to the sites Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
• Respond to required corrective and preventive action in a timely manner.
• Monitoring of raw materials requirements and informing supervisor when finished products are suitably packaged for movement to the warehouse.
• FLT operator duties as required.
• This list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to carry out additional duties where reasonable.
