The Falstaff Hotel in Canterbury is seeking a part-time Bartender to join our friendly team. You’ll deliver warm, professional service in a historic setting and help create a relaxed atmosphere for guests.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred. Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right person. Compensation: to be discussed.

• Ensure the bar is stocked and organized.
• Process payments and handle cash.
• Follow licensing, health & safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Support the wider hotel team.
• Help create a memorable guest experience.

The Falstaff Hotel has been at the heart of hospitality in Canterbury for over 600 years. A traditional 15th-century coaching inn, our hotel is steeped in history and full of character. Over the years, the hotel has grown through the conversion of an adjacent Wood Mill and the former pub, The Tap, creating a unique and welcoming destination for our guests.

We are now looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Bartender to join our team.

The Role

As a Bartender at The Falstaff, you’ll be an important part of our guests’ experience, providing warm and professional service in our bar and helping to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive service.
• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar.
• Ensuring the bar is fully stocked and well organised.
• Processing payments and handling cash responsibly.
• Following licensing, health & safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Supporting the wider hotel team when required.
• Helping to create a memorable experience for every guest.
