Job summary

Soho House is seeking a bartender to join our premium bar team in the UK. You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager and ensure the bar is fully operational, stocked, and presented to the highest standards.

You will prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision while creating a welcoming environment for members and guests. You will engage with guests, maintain cleanliness, manage stock and assist with new menu ideas, all while adhering to licensing and safety

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques, and spirits.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
• Experience working with POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.
• Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
