Job summary

Smith & Western is looking for a friendly Bartender to join our family-run restaurant. You will prepare and serve drinks at the bar and to diners, maintain stock and keep the area clean, while delivering warm, knowledgeable service.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; experience is helpful but not essential. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and great tips, this role offers progression opportunities and a welcoming team.

Bartender

Since 1995 Smith & Western have been serving great tasting fresh food, mouth-watering cocktails and belly busting deserts in our authentically themed restaurants across the South. We are a family run restaurant with over 25 years’ experience. Our passion and drive are still as strong as it was on the day, we opened our first restaurant.

Our bartenders prepare and serve drinks in a friendly and warm manner both to customers at the bar and for customers seated in the restaurant, they are masters of bartending, from service and drink preparation to cleaning and inventory control. Always ready with a warm welcome and friendly smile they know their products and take pride in offering a friendly conversation and knowledgeable recommendation if required.

Shifts vary, and we can offer both full and part time positions, working patterns will include some evening and weekend shifts as that’s our busiest times.

At Smith & Western we know how valuable a good Bar Tender is so whilst experience is advantageous it’s not essential, common sense an outgoing personality and great work ethic are!

Due to licensing restrictions, we do require that applicants must be over 18.
