Job summary

Smith & Western in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bartender to join our energetic team. The role involves preparing and serving drinks at the bar and to restaurant guests, with a friendly, informed approach.

Shifts vary and we offer both full- and part-time positions, including evenings and weekends. Experience is useful but not essential; the emphasis is on a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a warm welcome to guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar for customers and seated guests.
• Maintain bar stock and cleanliness, assist with inventory control.

Since 1995 Smith & Western have been serving great tasting fresh food, mouth-watering cocktails and belly busting deserts in our authentically themed restaurants across the South. We are a family run restaurant with over 25 years’ experience. Our passion and drive are still as strong as it was on the day, we opened our first restaurant.

Our bartenders prepare and serve drinks in a friendly and warm manner both to customers at the bar and for customers seated in the restaurant, they are masters of bartending, from service and drink preparation to cleaning and inventory control. Always ready with a warm welcome and friendly smile they know their products and take pride in offering a friendly conversation and knowledgeable recommendation if required.

Shifts vary, and we can offer both full and part time positions, working patterns will include some evening and weekend shifts as that’s our busiest times.

At Smith & Western we know how valuable a good Bar Tender is so whilst experience is advantageous it’s not essential, common sense an outgoing personality and great work ethic are!

Due to licensing restrictions, we do require that applicants must be over 18.
