Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Bar Tender to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a hospitality setting. You will mix and serve beverages, handle transactions, and maintain a welcoming, clean bar area.

With a 40-hour week at £12.71 per hour, you’ll join a team dedicated to service excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction across vibrant venues. A customer-focused approach and clear English communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Crafting and serving a range of beverages following policy and licensing rules.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service at all times.
• Handle cash, cards and guest accounts in line with procedures.
• Keep bar and service areas clean and well-presented at all times.
• Prepare for shifts using the department checklist and be ready to create delightful experiences.
• Rotate and display bar stock to ensure quality and freshness.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.
• Support the Food & Beverage team with additional duties as needed.

• Crafting Delight: Serve up a delightful mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following hotel policy and liquor licensing laws. Don't forget to suggest some exciting options!
• Service Excellence: Weave your excellent customer service consistently, making every interaction an enjoyable experience for our guests.
• Transaction Savvy: Handle cash, credit cards, and guest accounts with finesse, following our company procedures.
• Spotless Setup: Keep the Bar and service areas clean and ready to impress.
• Shift Ready: Prepare for your shift using our department\'s checklist, ensuring you\'re ready to create delightful experiences.
• Stock Management: Rotate and display Bar stocks like a pro, ensuring all products are served in top-notch condition.
• Safety First: Strictly observe Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations because safety is our top priority.
• Team Player: Take on additional duties to support the Food & Beverage department, whether it\'s helping with table service, food, or training our team members.

Desired Skills and Education:

• Customer-Centric: Previous hospitality or retail experience where you\'ve focused on making customer experiences memorable.
• Service Excellence: Previous Customer Service experience where you\'ve excelled in creating enjoyable moments.
• Language Proficiency: Good understanding of written and spoken English – because clear communication is key!
