Job summary

Town Bar in Covent Garden is seeking a skilled Bartender to craft high-quality drinks and uphold the bar's standards. You’ll serve cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and warmth, contributing to a welcoming, neighbourhood atmosphere.

With at least 1 year of experience, you’ll thrive under pressure, work evenings and weekends, and enjoy a discretionary share of the service charge. Town offers a full-time rota, meals on duty, staff discount, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a cocktail bar or high-end restaurant environment.
• Solid understanding of classic cocktails and spirits.
• A genuine passion for drinks and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• A collaborative team spirit and a desire to improve. The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Eligibility to work in the UK, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and precisely serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits to the highest standards of flavour and quality consistency.
• Demonstrate precise attention to detail in cocktail batching, making and garnishing.
• Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth and professionalism.
• Keep the bar neat, clean and fully stocked throughout service.
• Collaborate with the bar team and Kevin Armstrong of Satan's Whiskers to bring creativity and consistency to the cocktail menu.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to uphold a safe and welcoming environment.

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Bartender with a good understanding of mixed drinks and round-building to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll craft quality drinks and uphold the high standards our bar is striving for. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable bar service for both guests and the team.

• Competitive Pay & Earning Potential
  • £15.50 – £16.50 per hour depending on experience, including a discretionary share of the service charge (tronc).
• Hours & rota: full‑time, 4-5 day workweek including evenings and weekends; rotas shared in advance.
