Job summary

Signature Pub Group Ltd. in Scotland is seeking a bartender to prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste, while engaging with guests and making recommendations.

Bartender Duties

• Prepare and serve beverages – Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers while ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
• Provide excellent customer service – Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and making recommendations based on preferences.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels – Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with ingredients, glassware, and supplies.
• Follow licensing and safety regulations – Ensure responsible alcohol service, check IDs where required, and comply with health and safety standards.
• Handle transactions and cash management – Process payments efficiently, operate the till system, and manage tabs or receipts accurately.

Required Skills

• Mixology and drink preparation – Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with the ability to craft high-quality drinks.
• Customer service and communication – Friendly, approachable, and able to engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Multitasking and time management – Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently, especially during busy periods, while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Teamwork and collaboration – Ability to work effectively with colleagues, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service and a great customer experience.
