Job Overview

We are seeking a full‑time bartender to work evening shifts at a hotel. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and ensure excellent service at all times.
  • Prepare, mix, and serve beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of cocktail trends, wine lists, and beverage pairings.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organised, including glassware, equipment, and stock.
  • Monitor guest behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with licensing laws.
  • Support the Food & Beverage team with stock control, ordering and inventory checks.
  • Promote hotel facilities, events and loyalty programmes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and elevate concerns when necessary.
  • Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or luxury setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines and beers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
