Job summary

Signature Group is seeking enthusiastic bartenders for The Huxley and associated venues in Edinburgh. You will contribute to drinks development, prep work and frontline service across two lively venues, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires hands-on hospitality, a guest-focused mindset, and a minimum of one year in a bartender role. Evening and weekend work is required to support our dynamic operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end cocktail bars is essential.
• At least one year in a bartender role is preferred.
• Hands-on, guest-focused service approach is required.
• Experience with menu development and preparation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Split time between prep/back-of-house support and front-of-house duties across two venues.
• Assist the prep team and work alongside the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization and efficiency behind the bar.
• Be prepared for evening and weekend shifts, including late nights (up to 3AM).

Are you a passionate bartender whom is as passionate about drinks development as they are about Front of House delivery?, Are you interested in the process behind developing a cocktail from the moment of ideation through to delivery? Do you have experience working in drinks development, preparation work and batching? - then we have the role for you!

The Huxley, our Americana-themed restaurant and cocktail loungue, alongside Heads and Tales Gin and Cocktail Bar, is on the lookout for new talented bartenders to join our expanding team. Nestled on Princess Street within The Rutland Hotel, both venues take pride in serving some of the finest classic cocktails and unique specialties crafted by our enthusiastic and skilled staff. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and creating unique, unforgettable experiences for our guests.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for the hospitality industry is essential. We love what we do, and we hope you do too! You should be hands-on and have a guest-focused approach to service. Experience in high-end cocktail bars, as well as in menu development and preparation, is highly desirable. Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in a previous bartender role.

In this role your time will be split between supporting our prep team back-of-house and being front a centre working accross two of our exciting venues with our team of bartenders.

Please be aware that while we respect work/life balance, this is a full-time position and evening and weekend work will be required including some late night shifts, including occasional 3AM finish times.
