Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is hiring a Bartender to join our Cardiff-based team. You will greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and serve food and beverages while ensuring a high standard of service and a welcoming atmosphere.

As part of our team, you will work across one or more hotel bars, uphold brand standards, and be flexible to shifts including late evenings and weekends. Applicants must be 18+ due to licensing regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience essential.
• Must be skilled in mixing drinks and serving guests.
• Strong communication and guest engagement.
• Able to work well in a team and support colleagues across the hotel.
• Attention to detail and maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

A day in the life of…

Working in one or more of the hotel's bars, as a Bartender you’ll be responsible for ensuring that guests have a positive, first class dining experience. You’ll greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised dining area, restocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation as needed whilst working agilely to support the rest of the wider business

**Please note that due to licencing legislation, we will only be accepting applicants who are age 18 or above. Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to work late evenings and weekends.**

What do we need from you?

• Previous bartending experience essential. Must be skilled in mixing drinks, serving guests and maintain high standard.
• To be successful in this role you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
• You’ll be a strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guest, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience working in a bar or hospitality environment and knowledge of creating cocktails as well as other beverages would be beneficial
