Job summary

The Invercauld Mews Pub in Braemar is seeking a bartender for the summer season to join our friendly team. You will assist with beverage service, stock control, and event promotion while ensuring guests receive a warm, professional experience.

Experience in a similar role is welcome, but passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences are key. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow with Artfarm properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the beverage service in the pub.
• Provide guests with attentive, courteous, professional service.
• Assist with stock control and bar setup/breakdown.
• Help with beer lines cleaning and equipment upkeep.
• Support advertising of sports and events at the bar.
• Maintain lighting and music to suit the atmosphere.
• Handle daily banking including cash handling and payments.

Job description

Located in the heart of Braemar (Scotland), the Mews Pub is a drinks only bar serving the local community and visitors to the village. From time to time, special pop-up food events are organised. We are currently recruiting a Bartender to join the team for the summer season.

As aBartender at The Invercauld Mews Pub in Braemar, you’ll be undertaking tasks such as:

• Supporting the beverage service in the pub.
• Providing guests with an attentive, courteous, and professional service of the highest standard.
• Supporting with stock control.
• Assisting with beer lines cleaning and ensuring bar equipment is kept in working order.
• Supporting the advertisement of sports and creating events for the bar, e.g. pool competitions and other themed nights.
• Undertaking daily maintenance as well as setting up and breaking down the pub.
• Maintaining the atmosphere of the pub such as ensuring lighting and music are appropriate.
• Manage banking including counting cash and reconciling payments.
