Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting a Bartender at RAF Boulmer to deliver excellent customer service to military personnel, civilians and visitors while managing bar operations during your shift. You will mix and serve drinks, keep the bar area clean and fully stocked, and report to the General Manager on site.

To be eligible, you must be 18+, legally able to work in the UK, and pass security vetting/DBS checks. The role is part-time (20 hours per week) from Thursday to Sunday, 18:00–23:00, with benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending is desirable; on-site training is provided.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK.
• Security vetting and DBS checks are required.
• Excellent team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

Pay rate: £13.32 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week, Thursday - Sunday
Shift times: 1800 - 2300

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Bartender to be a part of our integral team at RAF Boulmer where you will deliver excellent customer service within one of the RAF's most important operational stations. Supporting military personnel, civilian colleagues, and visitors, you'll enjoy a varied role, a supportive working environment and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a site at the heart of the UK's air defence network.

As a Bartender, you will be managing the bars operations throughout your shift. You will be mixing and serving drinks whilst keeping the bar area clean and fully stocked. You will always provide excellent customer service and report into the General Manager on site.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll do:

• You will be mixing and serving drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to meet customer preferences. You will also be using Challenge 25, to ensure all IDs are valid.
• You will be capable of lone working and managing the bar service on your own.
• Cleaning the bar area, ensuring everything is clean and tidy before, during, and after service. This will include stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning etc.
• Operating the tills and taking card and cash payments, ensuring you are keeping financial records as required and offering excellent customer service to our customers. This will include cashing up at the end of the shift.
  

What we're looking for:

• Previous bar experience is desirable however full training will be given on site.
• For this role you must be 18+.
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
• Must be a great team player and confident to lone work when necessary.
