Job description

About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work in our Bars & Shops Venues across the resort.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage guest demand while maintaining operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
This is an operational, guest-facing role. Non-guest facing tasks will be scheduled within your working week to maximize your time within the venue and with guests.
The role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, requiring flexibility. Some shifts may extend late into the night, with finishes around 4 am.
At Butlin’s, no day is the same. You should enjoy thinking on your feet, getting involved, and prioritizing guest experience.

About You
We seek an experienced leader from an F&B environment who can support the team in delivering excellent service. You should have experience training and coaching in a fun-filled environment to ensure an excellent guest experience.
Previous leadership experience in a busy restaurant, bar, or retail environment where speed and quality are essential is required.
You should be confident in directing and responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards.
Strong leadership skills are necessary to motivate and engage your team, especially during high demand, and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You should be able to inspire your team to achieve outstanding results for both guests and colleagues daily.
