Job summary

BaxterStorey is hiring a Barista to deliver exceptional coffee experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will greet customers warmly, prepare a range of beverages to standard, and share menu recommendations with guests. We support development and offer training to help you thrive while balancing work and life.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Knowledge of allergen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Efficiently prepare and serve coffee, teas and other drinks to standard.
• Explain menu items and provide recommendations; follow allergen procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
• Follow health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures.
• Handle till transactions and assist with stock and prep as needed.

Job Description

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
