Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a driven Barista to craft beverages for Healthcare. You will deliver first-class service, prepare drinks, and maintain a welcoming cafè environment.

This full-time role (35 hours per week) offers progression within a company that values its people and maintains high standards of food handling, hygiene, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Able to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Willing to learn brewing methods and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and serve customers with high-quality drinks.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Represent Healthcare and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
