Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Barista on a part-time basis (34 hours/week). You will craft beverages, deliver excellent service, and contribute to a welcoming café environment within healthcare settings. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality beverages and food.
• Keep the bar area clean and well-organised.
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service.
• Manage stock of mugs and plates and restock as needed.
• Learn brewing methods and beverage presentation techniques.
• Report any equipment maintenance needs promptly.
• Represent Medirest and maintain a positive brand image.
• Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 34 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
