Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a driven Barista for a Costa brand on a full-time basis (35 hours/week). You will craft drinks, serve customers, and uphold brand standards across a busy high street environment. The role offers progression opportunities within a company that values its people and rewards performance.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, learn brewing methods, and ensure hygiene and safety compliance while representing the Costa brand.

Responsibilities

Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers.
Keeping the bar area clean.
Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards).
Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates.
Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image.
Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
