Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Barista in Warwick on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) to deliver expertly crafted coffees and first-class service in a high-street brand environment.

You will work within a supportive team, develop your barista skills, and help maintain a clean, efficient service area while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely order processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain reliability.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality drinks.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and communicate effectively.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods and beverage presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
