Job summary

Costa is recruiting a part-time Barista to craft beverages and provide excellent service in a busy High Street setting. The role involves greeting customers, handling payments, maintaining a clean bar, and learning brewing methods while upholding Costa brand standards.

You will join Compass Group UK&I’s extensive network and have opportunities for progression. The position requires hands-on coffee experience, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work mornings across the week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.

• Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area.

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers

• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)

• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 8 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
