Job summary

One Retail Group is hiring a friendly Barista to join a Costa Coffee counter at a major High Street brand. This part-time role is 30 hours per week, with shift patterns including 4 out of 7 days. You’ll craft beverages, serve food, handle payments and provide excellent customer service.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, learn brewing methods, keep the area spotless, and help uphold Costa’s brand standards while enjoying opportunities to grow within a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering good customer service.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Hands-on experience with coffee brewing equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and serve high-quality food to customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and well-organized.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player and clear communicator.
• Maintain stock of cups, plates and cleaning supplies.
• Learn brewing methods and beverage presentation techniques.
• Report maintenance needs for brewing equipment.
• Represent Costa and uphold brand image.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
