Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting a driven Barista on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) to craft beautifully prepared drinks for a major High Street brand. You will deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to customers, with opportunities to progress within a company that values its people.

Shift patterns are variable, and you will work as part of a brand-leading team. You’ll learn about brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation techniques while maintaining a clean bar

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers.
• Keeping the bar area clean.
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards).
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
• Representing Costa and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
