We are looking for a Barista/Cafe Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join Coombe Wood School and become an integral member of the Catering team. Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi-academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive, non-selective, and inclusive education through primary and secondary schools.

Main responsibilities:

• Management of monthly food safety audits
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and running of the school’s sports café services
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in respect of finance, hygiene, health & safety, school policies, procedures, and regulations
• Work with GLT’s Regional Catering Manager on the implementation of new food products and train café personnel
• Demonstrate practical food knowledge incorporating contemporary, traditional, and new café food trends
• Inspire and motivate café personnel through excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Proactively seek information on new initiatives to enhance customer service and food experience
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the café’s finances
