Job summary

Homewood, a 32-bedroom boutique hotel and spa near Bath, invites an experienced Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. You’ll craft exceptional espresso drinks, chat with guests and help maintain a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

You’ll set up the coffee station, work at pace during service, keep your workspace tidy, and collaborate with restaurant, bar and breakfast teams to deliver consistent quality. We value coffee knowledge, calm organisation under pressure and a genuine passion for guest

Qualifications

• Previous Barista experience
• Experience in a cafe or busy environment; confidence using an espresso machine
• Good coffee knowledge and presentation
• Ability to stay calm and organised when busy
• Friendly personality and guest service
• Experience in a high-volume coffee environment is welcome

Responsibilities

• Making consistently great coffees throughout the day

• Preparing espresso-based drinks, teas and other hot drinks

We’re a 32-bedroom boutique hotel and spa near Bath with a relaxed, playful approach to luxury and we’re looking for an experienced Barista to join our Food & Beverage team.

You’ll be someone who knows their flat white from their cappuccino, enjoys working at pace and takes real pride in making a great cup of coffee.

What you’ll be doing

• Making consistently great coffees throughout the day
• Setting up and looking after the coffee station
• Preparing espresso-based drinks, teas and other hot drinks
• Keeping your workspace clean, organised and ready for busy services

What we’re looking for

• Previous Barista experience
• Experience working in a coffee shop, café or similarly busy environmentConfidence using a professional espresso machine
• Good coffee knowledge and an eye for presentation
• The ability to stay calm and organised when things get busy
• A friendly personality and genuine enjoyment of guest service

Experience in a high-volume coffee environment would be particularly welcome.

The details

• £13 per hour plus tronc
• 40 hours per week
• Across 5 days
