Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Barbering Lecturer to join a further education setting on a long-term basis. You will deliver theory and practical barbering sessions, support learners and help them achieve qualifications.

The role requires delivering engaging sessions, planning lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining a safe learning environment. A recognised teaching qualification is advantageous, and safeguarding checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching or training experience within an education or training environment.
• Strong professional experience within barbering.
• A relevant barbering qualification.
• Strong practical knowledge of current barbering techniques and industry standards.
• The ability to engage and communicate effectively with learners.
• A patient, supportive and professional approach.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in helping learners develop their skills and progress within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging barbering theory and practical sessions.

• Planning and preparing lessons, practical activities and learning materials.
