Job summary

Cambridge House, part of the Auberge Collection, sits in Mayfair and opens as a luxury hotel. As a Barback you will support the bar team across Major's, In & Out and Reuben Bar, ensuring stations are prepared and stocked for seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barback, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
• A positive, collaborative attitude and confidence working alongside team members in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine enthusiasm for learning, developing your craft and becoming part of the Cambridge House story.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each station is clean, organised and fully equipped for the day or evening ahead.
• Replenish ice, glassware, spirits, wines, beers, mixers, garnishes and other essentials, anticipating the needs of the bartenders before the pace picks up.
• Stay attentive to the rhythm of service, responding promptly to requests and helping the bar team maintain a smooth, unhurried experience.
• Polish glassware, handle equipment with care and ensure that fridges, storage areas and workstations remain immaculate.
• Support stock deliveries, rotation, storage and replenishment, keeping supplies organised and reporting shortages or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain exemplary standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety, following all relevant procedures throughout your shift.
• Contribute to a welcoming, respectful working environment where team members look out for one another.
