Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Barback to support our bartending team. You will help prepare garnishes, restock supplies, keep the bar neat and ready for service, and deliver friendly guest service.

With 1-2 years' bartending experience preferred and a current right to work in the UK, you will join a team that values diversity, training, and employee wellbeing, including birthday time off, volunteering leave, and teammate discounts.

Qualificações

• Current right to work in the UK.
• Preferred: 1-2 years' experience as a Bartender in a full-service restaurant or lounge with cocktail knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws.
• Keep the bar area neat and clean.
• Assist bartenders by restocking and replenishing bar inventory, including glassware, liquor, and other supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all stations are fully stocked and ready for service.
• Collect and wash glassware, ensuring it is clean and ready for use.
• Monitor bar equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist in delivering orders to tables and clearing empty glasses.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests when appropriate.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the bar area meets the highest standards of cleanliness.
