Job summary

Searcys at St Pancras International Station is seeking a personable Barback to support the restaurant and Champagne Bar. The role covers Front of House duties with 43 hours per week and flexible patterns including full-time, part-time and flexible shifts.

You will help deliver exquisite cocktails, wines and Searcys champagne while maintaining stock, ice, glassware and safety compliance. Benefits include pension, generous leave, staff discounts, meals on shift and a birthday day off.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while performing duties
• Restock liquor, beer, wines, garnishes and bar supplies
• Manage ice wells and ensure continuous availability of ice
• Collect, wash and return glasses to the bar stations
• Clean bar surfaces, clear spills and discard waste
• Prepare fruit, juices, syrups and infusions
• Adhere to Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act and COSHH
• Work autonomously and as part of a team
• Demonstrate passion for food and beverage and strong organisational skills

Searcys are looking for aBarback to assist with the restaurant & Champagne Bar atSt Pancras International Station.

We are looking for personable individuals to join our bar team to assist with with the delivery of exquisite cocktails, exceptional wine and our very own Searcys champagne.

Job Type: Full time, part time and flexible

Salary: up to £15 per hour

• Provide exceptional customer service, whilst carrying out all duties required
• Restocking liquor bottles, beer kegs, wines, garnishes, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies.
• Ice Management: Continuously hauling, chipping, and refilling ice wells so bartenders never run out.
• Collecting empty glasses, washing, polishing, and returning them to the bar stations.
• Wiping down bar tops, emptying bins, clearing spills, and throwing away empty packaging during busy shifts.
• Cutting fruit (limes, lemons, oranges), making fresh juices, and preparing syrups or infusions.
• To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility including all other requirements as described in the Searcys Health & Safety Policy
