Job summary

The Dolphin Hotel in Beer, part of the Hall & Woodhouse family, is hiring Bar & Waiting staff for part-time hours in a characterful guesthouse near the beach, with a friendly team and lively shifts.

Starting pay is £13.11/hour, increasing to £13.45 after 6 months, with tips, 60% off meals on duty, and flexible hours in a welcoming, award‑winning pub atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar or waiting roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Able to work in a busy food-led environment.
• Aged 18+ to serve alcohol unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and take food orders from guests.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming bar and dining area.

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of destination pubs with letting rooms, the Dolphin Hotel occupies a fantastic location in the village of Beer, on the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Beer boasts a beautiful shingle beach, with plenty of attractions suitable for all ages nearby. The area is a haven for beautiful walks, with the nearby South West Coast Path offering stunning cliff top views. Guest areas include two comfortable lounge bars, dining room and a bright and spacious function room.

We’re growing our Front of House team and are looking for enthusiastic Bar & Waiting staff to join us part time on flexible hours that fit around your life.
