Job summary

Greene King is seeking Bar & Waiting Staff for our Pub & Carvery, where you’ll pour pints, greet guests, and help create memorable experiences for every visitor. You’ll work in a lively, inclusive team, developing your skills and contributing to a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

You’ll be part of a busy bar and dining team, focusing on great service, accuracy in drink presentation, and safe, clean premises while enjoying staff benefits and opportunities to grow within our brands.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.
• Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

Responsibilities

• Pour and serve drinks to a high standard and assist in food service when required.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain bar hygiene, stock, and safety compliance to ensure a smooth service.
