Job summary

Lounge Café Bars is hiring Front of House Team Members to join Loungers’ Retford venue. This bar and cafe role pays £10.85 to £12.71 per hour plus tips, with paid breaks, staff meals, and a 50% discount on food and drinks from day one.

You'll welcome customers, serve food and drinks, keep the bar clean, handle payments, and answer questions with confidence. Experience isn't required—kindness and hospitality are what we value, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience isn't essential - if you're kind and love hospitality, we'll teach you the rest!
• Lounges are part of Loungers, a Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026.
• Bar and Waiting team member role within Lounges/caf bars.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec - coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
